Starting a veggie garden in our backyard and need help assembling 3 raised garden beds (already purchased from Bunnings), filling with soil, and planting winter vegetables. We're passionate about sustainability and have a worm farm too! Our place backs onto Ashburton Park so nice quiet setting. Looking for someone interested in gardening who might want to learn - happy to share the harvest! Tools and gloves provided.

Looking for a reliable young person to walk our 3-year-old Labrador, Cooper, along the Gardiners Creek Trail. He's very friendly and well-trained. Walk from our home near Ashburton Station down to the creek trail and back. About 45 mins each walk. We're a family on Marquis Street and have been in Ashburton for 15 years. Perfect for someone who loves dogs and knows the local trails!

Our 1920s Californian Bungalow on High Street has a beautiful established garden that needs regular lawn care. Front and back lawns, edges along the brick pathways, and careful mowing around the heritage rose beds. We have all the equipment including a quality Victa mower in the shed. Looking for someone who appreciates our period garden and will take care around the established plantings.

Need both our family cars washed this weekend. We're just around the corner from Ashburton Primary School. One Volvo XC60 and one Tesla Model Y - both get dusty from the school run! Have all supplies, hose, and buckets. Looking for someone thorough who won't scratch the paintwork. Happy to provide cold drinks and snacks!

We're heading down to our beach house in Sorrento for a long weekend and need someone to pop in twice daily to feed our two Burmese cats, Mochi and Wasabi. They're indoor cats and very affectionate. Our home is on Welfare Parade, walking distance from the shops. Just need feeding, water refresh, litter check, and some playtime. We'll leave detailed instructions and our cleaner will be in on Saturday.

Our beautiful Liquid Amber tree on Munro Avenue is spectacular in autumn but creates SO many leaves! Need help raking and bagging leaves from front and back yards. The leaves pile up along the fence line and in the garden beds. We have rakes, a blower, and garden bags. Great exercise and we always have homemade biscuits ready! About 2-3 hours work depending on the wind.

My 78-year-old mum lives in her unit near Ashburton Village and just got an iPad for her birthday. She needs help setting up email, FaceTime to see the grandkids in Sydney, and maybe showing her how to use catch-up TV. She's sharp but technology is new to her. Need someone PATIENT who can explain things simply. Probably 2 sessions of an hour each. She'll definitely offer you tea and her famous lemon slice!

Downsizing after 30 years in our Ashburton home and need help clearing the garage before the removalists come. Lots of boxes to move to the skip, some furniture to carry to the nature strip for council pickup, and general heavy lifting. Two strong young people would be ideal. We're near the corner of High Street and Warner Ave. Will provide lunch from Piccolo's!

They're small but energetic and love playing fetch. Must be able to handle two dogs on leads. After school weekdays would be perfect - around 4pm for 30-40 mins. They're both microchipped and very friendly with other dogs at the park.

Just finished our rear extension (finally!) and there's fine dust EVERYWHERE from the building work. Need help with a thorough dust and wipe-down of all surfaces, windowsills, skirting boards. The builders did a basic clean but it needs proper attention. We're on Victory Boulevard near the Alamein line crossing. Have all cleaning supplies, vacuum, and microfibre cloths.
