1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pocket Money ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Pocket Money is a marketplace platform that connects young people seeking to earn money ("Workers") with individuals seeking help with tasks ("Task Posters"). We provide the technology and platform to facilitate these connections but do not employ Workers or guarantee the quality of work performed.

3. Eligibility

To use Pocket Money as a Worker, you must be at least 13 years old. Users under 18 years of age require parental or guardian consent to create and maintain an account.

Task Posters must be at least 18 years old to create an account and post tasks.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account with others

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Discriminate against others based on protected characteristics
• Circumvent the Platform's payment system
• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. Payments and Fees

Pocket Money charges a service fee of 10% on completed tasks. This fee is added to the task cost and paid by the Task Poster. All payments are processed through our secure payment system.

Workers are independent contractors, not employees of Pocket Money. Workers are responsible for any applicable taxes on their earnings.

7. Vouch System

Our vouch system allows users to vouch for Workers they know. By giving a vouch, you represent that you personally know the Worker and believe them to be trustworthy. False or misleading vouches may result in account suspension.

8. Limitation of Liability

Pocket Money is a platform that connects users. We do not:

• Employ or control Workers
• Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of tasks
• Guarantee the accuracy of user information or vouches
• Verify the skills or qualifications of Workers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocket Money shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Insurance

Pocket Money does not provide insurance coverage for tasks performed through the Platform. We recommend that both Workers and Task Posters maintain appropriate insurance coverage.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
